Three-star referee and judge René Just traveled from his town in Vrbové, Slovakia about 90 kilometers from Bratislava to participate in the AIBA Youth World Championships and before that, to find out more about how he can become a WSB R&J. The first WSB test event will be held in the Sagan Olympic Training Center near Baku, Azerbaijan.

"I want to see what the WSB will bring for us and for boxing because it's different from amateur and Olympic-style boxing," Just said.

Just's passion for boxing started early on in his life and has developed over the years. "I was a boxer, my father was a boxer and a referee and now I'm an R&J too," he said.

Having participated in the World Championships in Milan, Just is now excited about the Youth World Championships as well. "It's a good opportunity to showcase to the public the excellent profiles of our young elite athletes who will all be brought together for this event."

On top of being an R&J and working for an ice hockey manufacturer, Just owns a boxing club in his town where he tries to increase interest in the sport in younger children.
