The Maltese boxers from the'St Julian's Boxing club' participating in the 'Haringey Box Cup' had to content with silver medals.

The event which finished early this evening saw all three Maltese finalist finishing in the runners up position.

Coach, Julian Borg in a message on face book, wrote " They fought their hearts out, I'm proud of them"

His sentiments were echoed by 'Malta Boxing Federation' Vice President, Charles Cardona, who also thanked Julian for his assistance.

Lion Boxing Club - London, were Julian is one of the main coaches also took one silver at the Harringey.

The Maltese Boys were in action this afternoon (20 June) against:

H Lammouz  vs James Melvin of "Hall Green ABC'

Z Farrugia vs Simon Corcoran of ' Stowe Boxing Club'
