Malta Vs England Club Meet 20 & 21 November 2009

Louanna Marmara became the first Maltese Female boxers to participate in an international boxing match.

Louanna made history when on the 21st of November she went in the ring to take on Taylor from Sittingbourne boxing club.

Haithem Laamous in the 60 Kg division beat Jack Raines of Sittingbourne boxing club.

Haithem is showing great improvment and to date Raines is the most experienced boxers to be beaten by              Laamous.

It is without a doubt that the above boxers attracted the greatest support from the crowd.

This was a first for many of the Maltese officials
